An oddly connected string of missing persons cases turns frighteningly bizarre when the abductees mysteriously return after 21 days with no noticeable signs of harm, their memories wiped clean and a strange aversion to water. The pressure mounts when the first girl abducted dies just weeks after returning, escalating the fear and shortening the time frame for Detective Karen Morrison to discover who or what is responsible for these disturbing disappearances.
